American Board of Podiatric Medicine Certification Exam
The ABPM Board Examinations page includes information on eligibility, applying, dates, exam accommodations and details on the exam itself. It also links to study resources such as a discount for the ACPM review text, sample cases, and the Goldfarb Continuous Learning Center.
American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS)
"ABFAS Board Certification communicates, both to your colleagues and patients, that you have made the effort to be a better surgeon. In addition, ABFAS Board Certification is a prerequisite for surgical privileges at many hospitals and for some insurance companies, and many larger medical groups require ABFAS Board Certification to become a shareholder or partner."
American Podiatric Medical Licensing Examinations (APMLE)
The American Podiatric Medical Licensing Examinations (APMLE) are qualifying tests currently recognized or utilized by legal agencies governing the practice of podiatric medicine in the states, provinces, and federal agencies listed in the Candidate Bulletin.
ABFAS In-training Examination
ABFAS offers our In-training Exam (ITE) to podiatry residents each fall to help assess the progress of training and education at podiatric surgical residency programs approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME). Exam results help assess residents’ strengths and weaknesses and identify subject areas that may require more study.
ABPM In-Training Exams
In-Training Examinations (ITEs) are an important aspect of a physician’s residency training period and are a common feature of allopathic and osteopathic medical training; these exams are often administered by the certifying boards for their respective specialties. Starting June 2023 all first-year residents and subsequent must take the ABPM in training examination at least once during their 3 years of residency.

Podiatry in BoardVitals

BoardVitals is an online exam review tool that gives you access to podiatry practice questions with detailed explanations for correct and incorrect responses. The Board Vitals' podiatry question banks provide content targeted to the APMLE, ABPM certification and ABFAS Foot & Ankle Surgery exams. Follow these instructions to set-up your account and start reviewing!

Registration

The first time logging in, go to BoardVitals New User Registration to begin registering for an account.
You must use your HFHS email address to create the account! This is how they know you're part of our subscription. (Your password can be anything you wish.)
You'll receive an email to verify your account. Click the verification link in the email, then log into BoardVitals with the credentials you just created.

Using the Podiatry Question Banks

When you login go to your Dashboard, click the Question Bank dropdown in the top toolbar to see the subjects available to HFHS users.
