The ABA also offers subspecialties in Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, Health Care Administration, Leadership and Management (HALM), Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine, Neurocritical Care, Pain Medicine and Sleep Medicine.
Both the ABA and the AOBA offer subspecialty certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
