Accessing ClinicalKey for Nursing, Clinical Skills, and Clinical Updates CE

 

ClinicalKey for Nursing

Formerly Mosby’s Nursing Consult, ClinicalKey for Nursing provides to access books, journals, evidence-based monographs, drug information, patient education resources, and more. This resource is also available as a mobile app for Apple and Android devices. Refer to our mobile guide for instructions on how to set up the ClinicalKey for Nursing mobile app. 


Clinical Skills

Formerly Mosby’s Nursing Skills, users can access the Quick Sheets, Extended Text, Supplies, Demos, Illustrations, and Checklists. The skills are based off of authoritative nursing guidelines, standards, and textbooks including Perry & Potter’s Clinical Nursing Skills & Techniques, and AACN’s Essentials of Critical Care Nursing.

*Before using Clinical Skills, please search the OneHenry Policy Search for an Henry Ford Health policy that may already be in place on how to carry out a procedure. 

*The Test function in Clinical Skills is not active at this time. Tests appear for information purposes only. 


Clinical Updates CE

Mosby Nursing CE is now called Clinical Updates CE.

  • Before taking CE, you first must register on the website.
  • Click “Self Registration” in the bottom left corner of the box to begin your registration. If you’ve previously registered on the Clinical Updates CE site, you just need to login.
  • When creating your registration, you MUST use your HFHS email address. The email address will become your Login. Your password can be anything you choose.
  • When creating an account for the first time, you may receive an "Error" page after submitting the information to create your account. This is a glitch in the system, your account may still have been created. If you receive the error page, please go back to the login page and try logging in with the ID/password you just created anyway. If still unable to login, you will have to contact Elsevier support to reset your password (details below). Library staff cannot reset Elsevier accounts. 
  • If you forget your password: The Sladen Library cannot help with recovering your Clinical Updates CE password. If you forget your password, you will have to contact Elsevier Customer Support (Mon-Fri 8:30 AM-5:00 PM) at 1-866-344-2088 or CustomerCare@Elsevier.com
