Covidence is a web-based systematic review management tool that will help you through the process of screening your references, data extraction, and keeping track of your work. It is particularly useful for researchers conducting a systematic review, meta-analysis, or clinical guideline. Because it is a web-based application, reviewers can collaborate any time, any place.

What does Covidence do for you?

With Covidence, you can streamline your systematic review process management and help ensure methodological quality. You will be able to:

  • import citations from your reference manager (like EndNote)
  • screen titles and abstracts
  • upload references
  • screen full texts
  • create custom tables for data extraction
  • populate risk of bias tables
  • export
  • auto-populate PRISMA flow chart

You can access this resource from our home page, by clicking "Resources" in the blue bar at the top. More information, including how to sign up, can be found on our Covidence subject guide.

Did you know we also offer systematic review services? Sladen Library librarians can assist with formulating and conducting systematic review searches, reporting according to PRISMA guidelines, and exporting citations. To request librarian assistance on a systematic review, please fill out our request form. To learn more about conducting systematic reviews in general, visit our Systematic Review LibGuide or contact us.
