A Selection of New Books and Journals for 2022

Sladen Library is happy to announce system-wide access to the following three Science journals:

Science is a leading outlet for scientific news, commentary, and cutting-edge research. Science Immunology publishes basic, translational and clinical research specifically about immunology across all organisms and model systems, including humans. Science Translational Medicine is an essential platform for peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary research driving the latest medical advances. 

 

Additionally, the following core texts are now available system-wide as e-books:

Fischer's Mastery of Surgery Marriott's Practical Electrocardiography Clinical Scenarios in Surgery Clinical Anesthesia Procedures of the Massachusetts General Hospital

      

A few other journals available this year:

  • Journal of Hospital Medicine - Advances excellence in hospital medicine as a defined specialty through the dissemination of research, evidence-based clinical care, and advocacy of safe, effective care for hospitalized patients.
  • STEM CELLS The peer-reviewed journal, published monthly, is read and written by clinical and basic scientists whose expertise encompasses the rapidly expanding fields of stem and progenitor cell biology. 
  • Modern Rheumatology - An international journal publishing research related to rheumatology, including microbiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and orthopaedic surgery.
