Accessing Library Resources On- and Off-Campus

Sladen databases and other electronic resources are available for use by Henry Ford Health System employees and affiliated students.

On-Campus

If you are using a computer at a Henry Ford Health System facility, you will not need to login to access online resources - access should be seamless

Off-Campus

For remote access from home or another location, you will need to login
Most users can login remotely using their HFHS User Name and Password (hint: it's the same credentials you use to login to your HFHS Outlook email)
You can login at the start of your library session using the Remote Access link below; otherwise you will be prompted to login when you click on a library resource

We provide instruction on a variety of library resources including EndNote, PubMed, mobile apps, EBM, and more. You can register to attend a scheduled session, or request one that fits your specific needs.

Literature Search Request Form
Librarians perform literature searches for HF Macomb medical staff, employees, associates, students, and volunteers. Search results can be emailed, faxed, or picked up in the library. Normal turnaround time is one business day.
Article Request Form
Use this form to request articles that we do not own. We can obtain a copy for you from another library and deliver it to you via email or pickup.
HF Macomb Library Registration Form
Submit this form to register for library services including the ability to check out materials.

Use the online catalog to see if we have the items you need. Most books can be checked out for 3 weeks and may be renewed.
