The American College of Cardiology recently changed how institutional users access subscribed content in CardioSource Plus. ACC partnered with Ovid, which provides platform support but requires a new way to authenticate to our subscription. Additionally, the CardioSource platform does not make it clear whether you are authenticated or what you have access to, and unfortunately, we cannot modify this. Here are some tips and FAQs that might help:

What don't we have access to?
Any of the other paid content available through the American College of Cardiology website, such as ACCEL or JACC. Our subscription to JACC is available through the ClinicalKey database.
I already have an acc.org account, how do I access modules through my institution's subscription?
To gain access, please follow the instructions below for either new or existing CardioSource Plus users.
If you are having issues accessing our subscribed modules after going through the steps above, try clearing your cache and cookies and re-following the steps.
Please note: Every July, upon renewal of our subscription, Ovid changes our authentication link and all current users will need to re-authenticate via the new link. We will update the link on our Database page and on this blog post.
I am a new user, what do I need to do to access?
I have accessed CardioSource through HFH's subscription in the past, but now it's not working.
There is likely a cookie from the ACC website that is not allowing your current subscription to be recognized. Please clear the browser history, including cache and cookies. This will ensure that the Ovid entitlement is recognized.
This answer only applies if you have already followed the procedure to register for CardioSource Plus for Institutions via Ovid. If this has not happened or when you are unsure, please follow the instructions as outlined above.
