LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that simplifies access to Sladen Library's subscribed resources across many types of compatible websites, even when you are searching the sites directly and outside of the Sladen website.
Adding this extension to your browser enables one-click access to full text articles from a variety of starting points including - Google, PubMed, a publisher website, Wikipedia, or others. The LibKey Nomad extension bypasses the need to go through the Sladen website for full text, yet still connects you to Sladen subscriptions.
How it looks:
When on a compatible website, LibKey Nomad places a button in the bottom left corner of the page. If an accessible PDF is available the following button will display.
New feature! Clicking the graduation cap icon will bring up options to export the citation into EndNote.
At times the button may read "Article Link." In these instances, you will be taken to the article page but have to choose a download method (i.e. the PDF does not download automatically).
If an article is not available through Sladen, clicking the button will take you to our options for ordering a copy using the library's ILLiad service.
