LibKey Nomad: Chrome Browser Extension for One-Click Access to Articles

by JoAnn Krzeminski on 2019-09-13T10:46:28-04:00 in Journals, Sladen Services | 0 Comments

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension for Google Chrome brought to you by Third Iron, the same company behind the journal-reading app BrowZine. LibKey Nomad provides one-click to PDF (or alternate full-text) access to Sladen's journal subscriptions across multiple scholarly websites, even when you are searching outside of the Library website. For example, article download links appear within PubMed (even if you have not used the Sladen link to PubMed), in reference lists of Wikipedia articles, on publisher websites, and coming soon - in Google Scholar results.

To get LibKey Nomad, go to the Chrome Web Store, search the Extensions for LibKey Nomad, and install. LibKey Nomad does not require you to create a personal account for use. When you install the extension, choose Henry Ford Health System as your institution and you are all set!
